Soft Wash House Cleaning
Soft washing uses low-pressure (under 500 PSI) and biodegradable cleaning agents to lift grime, mould, mildew, algae and bacteria from house exteriors. Safer than high-pressure cleaning on render, weatherboard and painted surfaces, and far more thorough than just spraying with water.
It's the right tool for the job on anything pressure-sensitive: rendered facades, weatherboard, painted brick, Hebel panels, soffits and eaves, even carport roofs and pergolas. The cleaning agents kill the mould and algae so it doesn't come back next month.

What is soft washing exactly?
Application of biodegradable cleaning agents through a low-pressure system, designed for surfaces that high-pressure would damage. Render, weatherboard, painted brick, hard-to-reach areas.
What chemicals do you use?
A combination of sodium hypochlorite and surfactants in different strengths depending on the surface. All within Australian standards. The agents biodegrade and don't damage healthy plants when correctly applied.
How high can you reach?
Up to two storeys with our water-fed pole system, no scaffolding or ladders needed inside the property.
How often should I have my house cleaned?
Every six to twelve months depending on exposure. Coastal, treed or industrial-adjacent properties need more frequent attention. South-facing walls (less sun) hold mould longer than north-facing.
When's the best time of year?
November through March is ideal. Late summer / early autumn lets us hit any built-up mould and algae before the cooler wet months kick in.
How long does it take?
Typically 30 minutes to two hours for a standard home. Larger or detailed jobs can take longer. We'll give you a clear time estimate with the quote.
Will it kill my plants?
Not when applied correctly. We protect garden beds with tarps and rinse adjacent foliage. Clients with sensitive plantings tell us beforehand and we plan around them.
