Solar Panel Cleaning
Restore output, scheduled cleans. Soft-bristle and de-ionised water for safe, streak-free panels.
Solar Panel Cleaning
Dirty solar panels can lose 30 to 50% of their output. Dust, pollen, leaves, bird droppings, salt and grime all reduce sunlight reaching the cells, and rain alone won't shift it.
We use water-fed poles and de-ionised water. No chemicals, no abrasives, no streaks. The cleaner stays on the ground or beside the panels, never on top of them, so the cells and their anti-reflective coating are never at risk.
Most homes (10 to 15 panels) take about an hour. We can reach panels up to 8 metres up. Discounted rates if you set up a 6-monthly maintenance plan, and you can bundle solar with exterior window cleaning to save on the call-out.

How much does it cost?
$199 + GST for the first 15 panels, $10 + GST per panel after that. Double-storey or steep-pitch roofs may attract a small surcharge. Free quote on request.
How often should I clean my solar panels?
Every 6 to 12 months for most properties. Dirt roads, treed lots and high bird traffic shorten that to 6 months.
How long does it take?
About an hour for a typical home with 10 to 15 panels. Double-storey or larger arrays take a little longer.
Will cleaning damage the panels?
Not when done properly. We use soft brushes and purified water. No high-pressure washers, no metal tools, no chemicals. We never stand on the panels themselves, that protects the anti-reflective coating.
Will rain right after the clean negate the work?
No. Rain rinses loose dirt but doesn't lift bird droppings, pollen or stubborn grime. Our clean does, and the rain just stays clean for longer.
Do you use chemicals?
No. Just tap water passed through a de-ionisation tank to strip the ions. Nothing else touches the panels.
Can you clean hard-to-reach panels?
Up to 8 metres with our water-fed pole. Most residential and small commercial arrays are well within reach.
We also work with insurance companies and builders.
