Do you offer emergency roof leak repairs?

How long does a typical leak repair take?
Minor repairs usually 30 minutes to a couple of hours. Larger jobs that need rebedding or flashing replacement can take longer. We'll quote the time before starting.
What roofing materials do you work on?
Concrete and terracotta tiles primarily. We also work on metal, slate and the occasional sheet roof. Both flat and pitched.
Can you repair leaks in heavy rain?
Heavy rain is unsafe for full repairs, but we can apply temporary waterproof solutions to limit damage until the weather clears.
Will you inspect the whole roof or just the leak area?
Whole roof. A leak that shows up in one room often originates somewhere else. We check everything so we don't miss the cause and so you find out about other small issues before they become claims.
Is the repair covered by warranty?
Small repairs typically don't carry a specific warranty. Full restorations come with a written 10-year warranty. We're upfront about which is which.
Can a leak damage anything other than the ceiling?
Yes. Untreated leaks rot timber framing and battens, soak insulation (which then loses thermal value and grows mould), corrode metal fixings and can short out roof-mounted electrical like solar wiring or downlights. The longer it sits, the more expensive the eventual repair.
